In this paper, Epidata presents a UML profile and a group of UML patterns for documenting the component-and-connector views of software architectures. After an approval process, the document was published on Sparx Systems’ website. Sparx Systems is partner of Epidata, and it specializes in high performance and scalable visual modeling tools for the planning, design and construction of software intensive systems.
