The Argentine software company expands its operation within the Technological Pole of the La Matanza National University (UNLaM), from where it promotes access to first quality employment for young people in the area. The project includes professional training with different levels of knowledge and the ability to work in contact with other cultures in exportable services.
Epidata, an Argentine software development company headquartered in Buenos Aires and with presence in several countries across the continent, is promoting the first high-quality employment in La Matanza and its areas of influence as a participant in the Information and Communication Technologies Development Center of the National University of La Matanza (UNLaM).
“I was born and raised in La Matanza. I think technology has the potential to generate more opportunities in the game. Many of the collaborators we have hired since the creation of the Technology Pole in 2017, are first-generation university students and we believe that La Matanza offers exceptional human capital and should be strengthened,” explained Adrián Anacleto, CEO of Epidata.
The Epidata project in the National University of La Matanza installations currently has 5 people working and will have an expansion in the short term of about 10 more positions.
In August 2019, the company announced an investment of US$4.5 million for opening offices in Colombia and Peru along with the acquisition of the Uruguayan company ImparIT, a Full Stack Developers company with expertise in mobile applications, cloud solutions and user experience. The operations joined those already open in Chile and San Francisco, on the West Coast of the United States.
”We want to expand abroad without neglecting our operations in Argentina. Our local collaborators can work on global projects with partners from other latitudes, which enriches their personal and professional experience. This is of great value for the professional development of young people who are just beginning to live the world of employment, with a quality opportunity in every sense.
