The new edition will begin on Tuesday, November 24, focusing on JAVA, and will have 30 attendees.

We are carrying out our training and job placement program in a virtual mode focused on the management and use of technologies that are in high demand in the labor market. The starting date of the second edition under this format will be Tuesday, November 24th.

The program is directed to Systems Engineering students who are in their third year of studies, who have English knowledge and a computer with Internet access. We have machines in the cloud, with last generation processors and 16GB of RAM memory, so that the execution of applications, servers and development environments does not depend on each participant’s device. In this way, provided they have a stable connection to the Internet, students can access professional level development environments.

The program is two weeks long with 3 hours of lessons per day and is taught by team and technical leaders at Epidata. The course includes lectures by specialists in different technologies and the realization of a final group project that integrates all the knowledge learned with the simulation of a real job.

The first remote edition was held in September 2020 and was focused on integration support, Mulesoft related technologies and tools such as Gitlab and Postman. Common practices in development and elements related to the life cycle of system projects were also taught. After the course, more than 10 students began working in the company.

We believe that in this context it is more important than ever to promote the insertion of more people in the world of work, providing them with the required knowledge to increase their chances of having a new job in a few days. The International Labor Organization (ILO) has indicated that young people will be the most affected by this crisis at the work level.
