Who Is Assist Card and What Did It Need
ASSIST CARD is the world leader company in comprehensive travel assistance, it was founded in Switzerland in 1972 and has been a member of the STARR COMPANIES group since 2011.
To do this, it manages the largest global network of providers in the world with high quality standards, with the ability to efficiently resolve from the simplest to the most complex problems, through a single contact, either by phone, from the website or any mobile device with the ASSIST CARD application.
Much more than travel insurance, ASSIST CARD is a travel assistance service offered by many entities and insurers, which in 2021 decided to join forces with Epidata to start working with DevOps.
Epidata’s Solution: DevOps
The first stage of this journey began with an assessment, carried out to detect the level of maturity of DevOps that ASSIST CARD had and, from there, design a RoadMap that would allow them to enter the world of this new software practice.
After obtaining satisfactory results with the preliminary assessment, our path together with ASSIST CARD continued during the following months and continues today in constant iteration.
The Method: Innovation With DevOps
Through the implementation of innovative DevOps practices, it was possible to work with the entire team involved in the application life cycle in an integrated, fast and secure way.
As a consequence, the results obtained were optimized and a more controlled development was generated.

In conclusion, in addition to implementing tools, the work that we carried out with ASSIST CARD contributed to defining internal processes on the way it developed software, which made the work methods more sophisticated and allowed us to achieve even better results.
