Epidata strengthens its market position by integrating Liveware’s capabilities and adding Atlassian as a new international partner.
Buenos Aires, July 2024 – Epidata, a leading company in innovation outsourcing and software development with presence in Latin America, Spain, and the USA, has recently acquired the prestigious company Liveware, specialized in Software Engineering and Technological Solutions, with 40 years of experience in the software development market, process improvement, and methodologies.
With the goal of continued regional growth, Epidata enhances its Enterprise Integration Business Unit with Liveware, expanding its service offerings related to software development process improvement, 360 Architecture, and Enterprise Data solutions.
To deploy the full potential of Liveware now powered by Epidata, and as part of the agreement, Alejando Bianchi, the creator of the company, will join the executive business staff as a key player in the integration and development of new business opportunities, bringing his extensive experience and track record in the market.
Regarding this, Alejandro commented: “It is particularly a great opportunity, in a new stage, to apply all the knowledge and experience acquired to continue the development of Liveware within Epidata,” and he continued, “…in line with Adrián Anacleto’s vision, I am convinced that we will have great growth opportunities and numerous achievements through teamwork.”
Strategically, and thanks to this acquisition, Epidata adds Atlassian to its partner ecosystem, a new international business partner. Liveware is a Silver Partner Solution of Atlassian, with certified professional teams capable of providing excellent services for the complete suite and selling all their products such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello. This way, Epidata will be able to offer all Atlassian products in all countries where it operates, providing a new offer to its clients.
Based on his vision as CEO and Founder of Epidata, Adrián Anacleto commented that “we are more than proud to have added one of the companies with the most expertise in software engineering, through its founder Alejandro, and with a strategic partner for our innovation outsourcing proposition such as Atlassian.”
Regarding management keys, Adrián concluded, “…in our industry, knowledge is essential, so in all acquisitions, we seek to ensure that the creators, founders, and main talents actively participate in business development in this new stage. Therefore, we are very happy that Alejandro remains connected, driving the business as a team and generating value.”
Another point to highlight is that Liveware has significant clients, such as Correo Argentino, VISA, and Banco Santander, among others, and extensive experience in key sectors such as banking, insurance, and fintech, adding value to Epidata’s portfolio.
This new acquisition will allow Epidata to add new know-how in Consulting and Architecture Solutions, Data Management & Big Data, Process Improvement; also adding partnership agreements with Mega, Microsoft, and Enterprise Architect to continue collaborating with our clients in LATAM, Spain, and the USA, providing more innovation options to current clients.
This new purchase reinforces Epidata’s ability to grow in its business model, successfully integrating new areas of knowledge and partners, as also demonstrated at the end of 2023 with the agreement made by Gestión IT.
