Epidata continues the investment plan for internationalization and positioning in foreign markets. Valerio AdriƔn Anacleto, one of the founding partners of Epidata, traveled to Silicon Valley, the cradle of technology and innovation, in order to strengthen relationships with local businesses and increase awareness in the U.S. market through a training program for Latin American entrepreneurs.

Trip to Silicon Valley

During the trip, meetings were held with more than 40 people from different companies and profiles, progress was made on the implementation of business in the bay and a new partnership was achieved.

Epidata, company specialized in software development and architecture services continues its internationalization plan investments and positioning in foreign markets.

Valerio AdriĆ”n Anacleto, one of the founding partners of Epidata, traveled to Silicon Valley, the cradle of technology and innovation, to analyze market permeability on Epidata’s core services, to strengthen relationships with local businesses and expand knowledge in the U.S. market through a training program for Latin American entrepreneurs.

During the trip, meetings were held with more than 40 people from different companies and profiles.
The trip was organized in the framework of Epidata’s internationalization project, that began in 2007 at a regional level with the inauguration of commercial offices in Santiago de Chile. Two years later, an expansion plan was initiated oriented to IT market in U.S., with the objective of achieving in 2015 that 40% of turnover comes from abroad projects. During the first week of the stay, Anacleto participated in a program for business owners, executives and managers of companies in Argentina and Latin America, which included panel discussions with industry experts, exhibitions in leading universities (Stanford University, UC Berkeley) and short simulations focused on leadership, innovation, creation of new business units, venture capital financing and global scalability.

In addition to updating knowledge and generate new contacts, the training focused on obtaining resources to be at the forefront of technology trends and doing business in the bay.

A high percentage of our investment for the development of new markets focuses on training and knowledge generation. We believe in the importance of encouraging formations at all levels of our human capital, from language courses, new technologies and working participation methodologies in international trainings of marketing and business strategy.

Throughout the two weeks he met with universities’ representatives, investors, local chambers and local technology companies in order to strengthen ties with existing partners and form new alliances, joint ventures and businesses.

One of the new alliance of the trip is Cloudera, Hadoop’s hand, an open source product that aims to be one of the most important in the near future on all matters related to Big Data.

Among the companies visited are included two of Epidata’s main current partners: Adobe and Oracle. At the same time the negotiations with Google continue to carry out joint projects in Argentina. He also met with Exo companies, Mule Software and Azul Systems, with which have close links and have had representation business.
