Epidata, argentine company specialized in software architecture and development, announced a 68.74% growth during the last fiscal year.
Accompanying this growth, the company has continued to strengthen locally in the banking, telecommunications and pre-paid medical sectors, having its sales distributed mainly among software factory, consulting and software architecture mentoring .
This is the seventh year of continuous growth and among the factors that contributed to this accomplishment, the incorporation of new clients stands out, both in the national and international market, such as Red Link, Arcor, Turner International, Garbarino and Swiss Medical, among others. Once facing the obtained results, the quality of its services has been a priority policy for Epidata, which has re-certified for the second time its development processes under ISO 9001:2008 standards.
The growth is also accompanied by a 54% increase its staff, with a 12% average rotation in the last 3 years; 8 points below the average in the IT market. Nowadays, Epidata has more than 100 professionals and plans to reach 500 by 2015.
Regarding the recognition received during this period, Epidata Consulting was awarded with the award to the company with the biggest international projection in Argentina, according to the Camara Argentina de la Mediana Empresa (CAME) and the Federación Argentina de Jóvenes Empresarios (FEDAJE).
The jury was conformed by the Minister of Economy, Amado Boudou; the Industry Minister, Debora Giorgi and President of the Investment Bank and External Commerce (BICE), Mauro Alem, who recognized the effort made during 2010 by Epidata Consulting, in the conquest of international markets, through the software development services exportation.
Epidata also received the award to Buenos Aires Young Entrepreneur, given by AJE-FECOBA. The aim of the award is to recognize to that entrepreneur who had excelled in the development and projection of its company, as well as has excelled at encouraging competitiveness, innovation and promoting employment in the city, during 2010.
