The following document entails Epidata´s website Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which is available at (“Website”).

Epidata Consulting S.R.L. (hereinafter, “EPIDATA”), domiciled at Maipú 521 floor 7, Buenos Aires city, is responsible for the Website.

Any person accessing, using and surfing the Website (“Visitor”) consents to this Privacy Policy and agrees to comply with and conform to same. When a Visitor accesses, uses, surfs and subscribes to the Website, such Visitor accepts the use of EPIDATA´s services and commits to adhere to and comply with this Privacy Policy, which amounts to an agreement between Visitors and EPIDATA.

Therefore, if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, it is requested that you neither access nor use the Website

I. Admission as Visitor and/or User

a. Minimum age
General Website use, access, subscription or surfing is allowed to any adult person bearing full capacity to enter into agreements, pursuant to the legislation at which Visitor and/or User established domiciled. General use, access, subscription or surfing on behalf of minors is forbidden. Parents or guardians of minors shall be directly liable for Privacy Policy violation and any other damages caused to such minor or third parties for the Website use.

b. Privacy Policy acceptance
Any person generally using, visiting, accessing, subscribing or surfing the Website unconditionally accepts this Privacy Policy. Provided that Visitors or Users comply with all their obligations, EPIDATA grants such Visitors or Users the revocable, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use Website services.

II. Information provided by Users

Website Visitors provide two types of information to EPIDATA: (i) information provided to subscribe and receive EPIDATA´s information through the Website; and (ii) data traffic that Visitors generate by surfing the Website.

a. Information provided to subscribe to EPIDATA
Those Visitors willing to subscribe and, thus, receive EPIDATA news and information may do so by filling in the form available at the Website home. Visitors acknowledge that information in its entirety is voluntarily provided and consent to manage such information pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

EPIDATA is responsible for managing and administrating the personal database generated as a result of Website use, and such information is to be kept at Maipú 521 floor 7, Buenos Aires city.

Visitors shall provide true and updated personal information and comply with all other Website use conditions.

b. Data traffic
EPIDATA may receive information such as: Visitor´s browser type, its IP address, Website surfing period of time, website forwarded by the Visitor to the Website, and Visitor´s traffic and preferences within the Website, among others. This information does not identify the person providing it; therefore, such information is not considered as personal information in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act.

III. Prohibited use of data and Website information

Website use is only permitted if this Privacy Policy and the applicable law are complied with. Prohibited uses are stated below, and Visitors shall refrain from using the Website for the following purposes:

a. To send spam e-mail, non-requested or non-authorized advertising, chain letters, or any other unlawful communication;
b. To state misrepresentations or offer false information about data provided to EPIDATA;
c. To use the Website in violation of this Privacy Policy, the law and generally accepted moral standards, or in such a way that may damage, discredit or be detrimental to EPIDATA or third parties;

Such enumeration of prohibited conducts amounts just only to an example and does not limit the violations which Visitors may commit.

IV. Users and Visitors Rights

a. Access, correction and removal of personal information
Visitors enjoy right of access, correction, block or removal of personal information which was provided to the Website either personally or through a third party. It is made clear that such rights shall only be exercised in respect to the information that may be considered personal information pursuant to 25,326 Act.

In order to enjoy any of such rights Visitors shall send an e-mail to, stating their name, last name, ID number, the request itself and the reasons for enjoying said rights. Having complied with the previous requirements and should the request be accepted, EPIDATA shall inform Visitor the acceptance or rejection of such request. EPIDATA shall have 5 working days upon request receipt to send an answer if such request amounts to an access one, and 5 working days should the Visitor ask for information correction, update or removal.

The Public Information Access Agency – Control Entity pursuant to 25,326 Act – has the power to hear claims related to violations to personal information protection rules.

b. Claims
Should any Visitor allege that the Website might entail a violation to Privacy Policies or should Visitor have any other claim, the Visitor may file such claim to the following e-mail address:

V. EPIDATA´s Rights and Obligations

a. Website services

EPIDATA shall have, at its own discretion, the power to suspend, replace and limit access, or to provisionally or permanently cancel the Website, without previous notice. Should there be an infringement to these Privacy Policies, EPIDATA may suspend, replace and limit access, or to provisionally or permanently cancel the Website, without previous notice. In both cases, EPIDATA shall not be held liable for such cancellation.

EPIDATA shall not be held liable for errors, omissions, interruptions, removals, defects, operation or transmission delays, failure in communication systems, robberies, destruction, non-authorized access or changes in Visitor´s communications.

b. Security tools

The Website provides Visitors with a surfing experience in a safe environment, using antivirus, firewalls and other technologies for such purposes. EPIDATA is not liable for potential attacks, phishing, pharming and any other force majeure event which may damage the Website.

VI. General Provisions

a. Applicable law

This Privacy Policy shall be construed pursuant to Argentine Republic laws, except for any conflict rule that results in the application of another legislation.

b. Jurisdiction

All disputes related to this Privacy Policy, or compliance herewith, shall be submitted to the Ordinary Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, waiving any other forum or jurisdiction.

c. Notices

To all judicial and extrajudicial purposes, EPIDATA establishes legal domicile at Maipú 521 floor 7, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, where all notices regarding Website use shall be deemed valid. Notices shall be expressly documented.

d. Amendment

EPIDATA reserves the right to totally or partially change this Privacy Policy in any moment and without previous notice. Should there be any changes, they are to be published in the Website, and, if User insists in using those services, it shall be deemed that said User has implicitly accepted the new Privacy Policy.
