Epidata took part in the National Technology Entrepreneur Week, by presenting its case to entrepreneurs in the sector. During the talk we discussed the aspects needed to build a successful venture based on our own experience since our beginnings in 2003, the year Epidata was founded.

The talk took place on Tuesday, September 16, as part of the Workshop “ICT: HOW TO DEVELOP SCIENCE- AND TECHNOLOGY-BASED BUSINESSES?”.

The event was attended by the Undersecretary of Policies in Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the National Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, Lic. Fernando Peirano, along with authorities from public and private organizations linked to ICT.

It was held in the Seminar Room of the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies in Science, Technology and Innovation. Located at Godoy Cruz 2390 – PB, City of Buenos Aires.

About the National Technology Entrepreneur Week

Organized by the Secretariat of Planning and Policies, this activity took place between September 1 and 8, and sought to promote and drive the intensive use of scientific and technological knowledge produced within the National Science, Technology and Innovation System by companies and organizations in the productive sector.

The goal of the National Technology Entrepreneur Week is to promote and create a space for participation for those interested in learning about the local and regional business world, as well as the adoption of tools and the development of skills for identifying science- and technology-based business opportunities. It also seeks to strengthen and energize existing business and supplier networks by bringing in new, traditionally non-business actors that generate a new productive ecosystem, boosting the competitiveness of value chains and driving the country's sustainable development.

To address all these needs, actions are being carried out to encourage the incorporation of research, development and innovation (R+D+i) processes and knowledge transfer in 19 provinces of the country and the City of Buenos Aires.
