In light of the need to strengthen the scientific-technological capabilities of the productive sector and the job placement of the scientific sector, the program “Doctors in Companies”, driven by the Technology Liaison area of the Fundación Sadosky and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Productive Innovation of the Nation.

Epidata supports and promotes the Doctors in Companies program, whose goal is to foster the innovative spirit and closer ties to the academic sector among ICT companies through the job placement of PhD-holding professionals.

At Epidata, we decided to take part in the program and bring PhDs into our company, with the aim of generating the inclusion of qualified professionals with an academic background, and thus,  strengthening the connection between the productive sector and the supply of scientific-technological knowledge.

”Strengthening the industry's scientific-technological capabilities is essential, and to achieve this, it is essential to encourage the integration of PhDs into the industry.

It is very important to be able to take and leverage the enormous quality of basic research conducted in Argentina and turn it into real projects that let us make the most of the entire innovation value chain, from research to the commercial use of these projects and their patents.

Adrián AnacletoCEO of Epidata

”Fundación Sadosky facilitated my job placement by helping me find companies that valued the specific knowledge I gained during my postgraduate studies. The program helps narrow the gap between industry and academia and reduce uncertainty for both parties when starting a working relationship. In particular, at Epidata, I was able to work on challenging industry projects while still staying connected to the world of academia, research, and technology transfer.

The Fundación Sadosky provides support to interested companies by finding the right candidate profile. On the other hand, for PhDs interested in joining the productive sector, it provides support throughout the search and job placement process.
